Our Approach
We offer culturally responsive, client-centred, and anti-oppressive psychotherapy, grounded in respect for each person’s lived experience. We welcome working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including newcomers, BIPOC communities, and members of LGBTQ2S+ communities.
We are interested in understanding you as a whole person — not simply through diagnoses, labels, or symptoms. In therapy, we work together to explore the emotional and relational patterns that may be holding you back, while also identifying your strengths, resources, and capacity for change.
Our work is informed by a psychodynamic approach, which focuses on how unconscious processes and past experiences can shape present-day thoughts, feelings, and relationships. By developing greater insight into these patterns, therapy can support meaningful and lasting change.
We believe that healing happens through deeper self-understanding and a compassionate relationship with oneself, and that each person holds an inherent capacity for growth and transformation.
