Initial Session
I offer a complimentary 30 minute introductory session. This session is for us to get to know one another and to determine if we are a good fit for working together. This is a time where I can answer questions you might have about psychotherapy. There is no obligation to book further sessions.
Individual Therapy
Together we explore and process issues and concerns that may be troubling you. The sessions are conversational and we work at the pace that feels safe. I will work with you towards identifying and meeting your short and/or long-term goals. My approach is client-centred and we work on the material you bring in. We work collaboratively and both bring in our insight and reflections.
Relationship Therapy
Together we explore dynamics in your relationship and work towards your goals, which might include: to improve communication, resolve conflicts, develop closeness, improve intimacy and commitment, deal with trust or infidelity issues, or decide on the future of your relationship.
Fees
Fees are discussed during our initial free consultation session. I have a limited number of sliding scale spots available (please inquire about availability). Payment can be made via same day e-transfer or credit card.
Cancellation Policy
I ask that you provide me with at least 24 hours notice to cancel your appointment. If you do not provide 24 hours notice a late cancellation/no show fee will apply.
Insurance Coverage
At the moment, psychotherapy is not covered under OHIP. Some private insurance plans may cover psychotherapy services from a Registered Psychotherapist (RP). I would strongly advise that you inquire with your insurance company about coverage before commencing any treatment.
