Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a depth-oriented approach that focuses on understanding how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns influence how you feel and relate in the present. Many people seek psychodynamic therapy when they notice recurring themes in their lives — in relationships, emotions, or self-perception — and want to understand them more deeply, not just manage symptoms.
In our work together, we explore emotional patterns, early relational experiences, and the meanings you make of them. Therapy becomes a space to reflect, make connections, and develop insight into parts of yourself that may have been shaped by earlier life experiences.
Psychodynamic therapy may be especially helpful if you:
- Feel stuck in recurring emotional or relational patterns
- Struggle with self-criticism, shame, or low self-worth
- Experience anxiety or depression without a clear cause
- Want to better understand yourself and your relationships
- Are seeking deeper, longer-term emotional growth
This approach supports lasting change by helping you develop insight, emotional flexibility, and a more compassionate relationship with yourself.
EMDR Therapy
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy is an evidence-based therapy used to help process traumatic or distressing experiences that may feel “stuck” in the nervous system.
These experiences can continue to influence thoughts, emotions, and relationships long after they have passed.
EMDR therapy may be helpful if you are experiencing:
- Trauma or PTSD
- Anxiety or panic responses
- Intrusive memories or emotional reactivity
- Long-standing patterns connected to earlier life experiences
EMDR is integrated thoughtfully and collaboratively, with close attention to readiness, pacing, and emotional safety.
